The LightShape is a infrared circular marker measuring 3 inch (8cm) in diameter. Also called the infrared disc or the IR Circle, the LightShape is available in 3 hour or 8 hour versions.

Used by the military and special police units, the LightShape IR patch is easily operated by pressing the center of the circle marker, activating the infrared (IR) feature.

Like many other products in the Cyalume IR range, the LightShape IR patches are used by Armed Forces and special home defense units on tactical operations for:

• individual markers for covert identification,
• IFF Friend or Foe identification,
• markers for target designation,
• covert identification of a convoy …

The LightShape IR is ideal for personal marking when an operation uses an aircraft equipped with night vision goggles.
